Calypso was the foundation bitch at Luckpuddle. She always loved all applause and attention, and would do anything to get it, even if it meant jumping into an adjacent show ring. She was quite certain she won every show she ever entered. Cal was a very typey lady that achieved multiple Canadian group placements in 2008 and 2009. She achieved her American Championship over a few short weekends.

Bold and ambitious.
Her drive and determination helped her succeed in multiple venues like Dockdog Diving and Agility. Her fearless attitude translated wonderfully to all aspects of life. She was an amazing brood bitch and always refused to wean her puppies until they went to their new families. Hallowe’en was always her favorite day of the year, since people dressed up, praised her loudly, took pictures and she got cookies for barking at the door.

Top Rally Obedience Dog in 2008 with more than one High in Class. Calypso achieved her Canine Good Citizen title on her first attempt. Cal was also certified with the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program, and made visits to the Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul. Calypso was passionately bred by Finnibone Kennels in Red Deer Alberta, and several of her littermates were easily just as talented and accomplished as she is.
